Let It Flow Herbal Tea
A tea blend crafted to support a healthy menstrual flow.
Red raspberry leaf is very commonly used in women’s health. A cooling reproductive tonic, it tones tissue and can help support the overall health of the pelvic muscles and uterus.
Nettle is a nutritive herb that contains iron and amino acids, and is considered blood-building. Nettle also tones tissues, and helps support detoxification especially during menstruation.
Mugwort is a known emmenagogue which means it increases blood flow to the uterus, making it a great herb to assist with reducing cramps and allowing an easier, less “stuck” or painful flow.
Chamomile is relaxing and is antispasmodic which helps reduce cramps.
Rose is another traditional reproductive tonic that soothes the heart and mind.
Steep for 5-7 mins for a hot tea. For cold infusion which is more concentrated, steep 4 hours-overnight. I often make an infusion to ensure I get the most benefits from the nettle and raspberry leaf, as infusions extract more vitamins and minerals. Add honey for sweetness!
